I actually got someone to not hang up right away, but had trouble with her accent...Indian with a dot? She kept asking about my ''icy address''..And I tried to explain it doesn't get cold enough here in Phoenix for my address to get very icy...She kept trying to say "I.P." and I kept trying to get her to spell it...(I Should have mentioned something about adult diapers)..Then she started mentioning something about my computer, and as soon as I lied about not having one, she hung up...Does this mean she won't give me another wake*up call? :(

Caller was from India, told me my pc was being hacke and used for illegal purposes. I responded in a way that he told me that I should not smile, stop smiling. This issue is very serious. I told him I was not smiling, but was unable to take care of the issue at this point in time as I was late for an appointment. He was very insistent that it was a critical problem, ask what time could he call me back. I said 5 o'clock call me back at 5 o'clock, he said okay. After my appointment, I looked up the phone number and read the comments on this site. I decided that if he were to call back I would take one of the other posters'idea and say this is officer Barnett with the FDI, computer fraud. (Saying FDI, I shouldn't be committing a crime in posing as an fBi officer.)This was s several days ago and, unfortunately, he has not called back. If he does, I will try to remember to post what happens on this page. :-}
