yeah Portfolio is the worst company. They buy debts when the credit companies write them off and keep re-reporting your credit

I do believe this is Portfolio Recovery debt collections services. They are scammers. Beware!!! I always get these random numbers calling me all the time from different states and area's and it's always Portfolio. I had one debt that's like 12 yrs old that had been written off and was not on my credit report. I made the mistake of answering one of these calls and saying who I was. Now I have Portfolio on my credit report!!!!! >:-( (I found this review on another site helpful )
