I actually might answer next time just to have some fun and waste THEIR time, because to them, time is money. I could say hold on and pretend someone's talking with me and have them repeat, and then say hold on someone's at the door and have them repeat again, and then say I was reading a document and didn't pay attention so they'll need to repeat.
