this is a scam that has been on the news lately, beware...collecting for vets but no vet gets a single penny...I'm a vet myeslf

Called my home posing as a veteran's charity using a switchboard that calls many numbers at once as I had to wait for the other side to ack. When they asked (all recorded and played back vocals) for a donation I told them I donate directly to Wounded Warriors and asked how they got my number (because I am a veteran) and [bang] they hung up. The voice was not live and clearly recorded.

Most likely fraudulent attempt to get my bank account or credit card number.
